Mia M.: My favorite all-round hiking boot as a regular barefoot user, as it takes me all the way to the top of the tree line. It is suitable for the period between spring and autumn, as the wool upper material is very breathable, and the leather absorbs the wax for impregnation, so it can withstand crossings of lower forest streams. It can also withstand some ferrata, as the grip is excellent, but due to the nature of the soft barefoot sole, it is not the most comfortable on iron crampons. For more demanding or winter adventures with a little more ankle support, I would opt for its brother - Tracker Forest.

The upper part of the shoe is made of durable Wild Hide leather, which is flexible and naturally waterproof when treated with Renapur Leather Balm. Materials include 100% wild leather and synthetic rubber for the overlays, and the upper part of the shoe - a gaiter, which is a combination of RPET, elastane and wool. This makes the shoe durable and suitable for different terrains.
The inner part of the shoe includes linings made of 100% RPET and wild leather, which ensures comfort and durability. The Ortholite insole, made of 98% recycled PU foam, contributes to the reduction of waste and the use of new plastic materials, and provides active support while walking. The midsole includes a removable Ortholite insole for added comfort and support.
The sole of the shoe is equipped with the Outdoor ESC Michelin sole, which has a 2.5 mm base and a 7 mm tread depth, made of high-performance rubber with an aggressive off-road design. This sole provides maximum ground feel and grip even in the most demanding environments. The shoes close with laces made of 95% RPET and 5% reflective fibers, which allows for a secure fit. Although the shoes do not have a specific membrane, they are designed according to the barefoot concept, which allows for a natural feeling when walking.
The weight of one shoe, based on women's size EU 38, UK 5, US 7.5, is 460g. The shoe is not particularly light, but it is designed for the barefoot concept , which allows natural movement of the foot while walking.

Due to the added cushioning, modern (ordinary) sports shoes strongly support the musculoskeletal system, which is not present in barefoot footwear. Long distance walking and especially running with Xero shoes must be undertaken with the correct approach. You must gradually accustom your feet to barefoot walking and natural movement.
