The Norste jacket is designed for hikers and mountaineers who need reliable protection from rain and wind. Made from advanced 3-layer PERTEX® Shield fabric, it combines durability with lightness and exceptional breathability, allowing you to move comfortably in all mountain conditions.

Main advantages and technology of PERTEX® Shield:

• 3-layer lamination (40D): The jacket offers complete waterproofness and wind protection. The 40D ripstop nylon on the outside provides high resistance to tearing and abrasion.
• High technical parameters: A water column of 20,000 mm ensures complete dryness, while a breathability rating (MVTR) of 20,000 g/m²/24h enables effective moisture wicking during activity.
• Sustainable choice: The outer material is made from 100% recycled nylon and is treated with a fluorocarbon-free durable water repellent (DWR).
• PIVOT 2 adjustable hood: The advanced adjustment system allows you to fix the hood so that it follows the movement of the head and does not obstruct the field of vision, while providing space for a climbing helmet.

Functional details:

• YKK AquaGuard® zippers: The main zipper and pocket zippers are water-repellent (AquaGuard® NATULON®), which prevents water from entering the most exposed areas.
• Two spacious pockets: The side pockets are positioned high enough to remain accessible even when wearing a backpack with a belt.
• Adjustable fit: Adjustable cuffs on the arms and bottom hem of the jacket allow you to close the jacket tightly and prevent cold air or moisture from entering.
• Laminated hood shield: A low-profile, stiffer hood shield directs water away from the face.

Technical details:

• Material: PERTEX® Shield 3L (100% recycled nylon).
• Weight: 405 g.

Ideal for:

Hiking, trekking and mountaineering in all seasons. Due to its low weight and ability to fold into a small volume, Norste is a great choice for any backpack when the weather suddenly turns bad.
