Scarpa ZODIAC TECH GTX is a hybrid hiking-alpinist shoe chosen by mountain guides and rescuers. It offers excellent versatility for activities on mixed terrain , even when carrying a heavier backpack.
The upper part of the shoe is made of Perwanger leather from Nepal , which ensures excellent durability and water resistance. The construction includes a rubberized edge that provides additional protection to the foot and helps maintain the shape of the shoe even during long-term use.
The inner part of the shoe includes a GORE-TEX membrane , which provides water resistance and breathability, which allows comfort in various weather conditions. The midsole uses the patented Bascula Adaptive System , which provides stability and good grip on different surfaces, while maintaining flexibility.
The sole is made of high-quality Vibramrubber with good grip, and is designed with a slight curvature for easier movement on the ground. The closure is arranged with an extended lacing system that reaches to the toes, which allows for precise adjustment and an optimal fit. The boots are compatible with semi-automatic crampons , which increases their versatility in mountaineering activities.
The shoe is made in Asolo, Italy , which ensures a high quality of workmanship.
