Altra Lone Peak 9 is designed for trail running, hiking and long treks. The design allows for natural foot movement, with a zero drop (0mm) for balanced ground contact. The wide forefoot provides ample toe room for improved comfort and stability over longer distances.

The upper is made from 100% recycled ripstop mesh for durability and tear resistance. Reinforced seamless layers help provide long-lasting stability and abrasion resistance. The GaiterTrap™ system allows for easy gaiter attachment for added protection from dirt and stones.

The Altra EGO™ foam midsole provides a balance between responsiveness and comfort, while providing better ground contact. The insole includes StoneGuard™ protection , which reduces the pressure of rocks and other obstacles on uneven terrain and provides flexibility without reducing stability.

The MaxTrac™ outsole is designed for optimal traction and durability on a variety of terrains, providing good ground contact and a confident stride. The shoes are fastened with classic laces for a flexible fit. At 263 g (EU 42), they are among the lighter models, and their barefoot design allows the foot to move naturally.
