The described routes, excursions and tours take you to 45 destinations, among which everyone will find something for themselves. Easy trips are suitable for younger mountaineers, and for experienced mountaineers, the authors have prepared some descriptions of secured climbing routes - via ferratas, and added a few off-road tours.

The trips described in the Julian Alps, East of Soča and Pišnica guide describe the routes to the peaks in the eastern part of the Triglav National Park with its hinterland. More specifically, in the area between Baška grapa and Selška Sora and the Zgornja Ssava valley on the north-south axis, the western part is bounded by Soča, and the eastern part by Bled and Jelovica.

The mountain guide contains graphic descriptions of 45 mountains tops and routes suitable for children, the most demanding mountaineers and more relaxed mountaineers, as well as quality photos and excellent maps showing the course of the route.
