The Columbia Powder Lite™ II Insulated Women's Vest is a women's garment designed to provide warmth during hiking , traveling , and general outdoor activities . Due to its insulating properties, the product is especially suitable for wearing on colder days - as a standalone outer layer or as an effective mid-layer.

This vest is made of 100% polyester . It uses three key technologies for optimal protection and comfort. The outer fabric is treated with Omni-Shield™ technology, which provides water repellency and resistance to stains . The lining is equipped with Omni-Heat™ Reflective technology, which reflects body heat with silver dots, thus allowing effective heat retention without excess weight. The insulation is provided by Thermarator™ filling, which is made of 100% recycled polyester and provides warmth even when wet. The garment is treated with a PFAS-free coating (environmentally friendly coating).

The vest is designed with active movement in mind. The cut is an Active Fit, which allows for a good fit and freedom of movement. The design does not include a hood, which keeps the volume to a minimum for layering.

Functional details include a full-length zip with chin guard. Two zipped side pockets and one internal security pocket are provided for storage. The hem is adjustable with a drawstring, allowing for a custom fit and protection against the cold. The collar and armholes have an elasticated finish, which also helps to retain heat.
